FeedSweep : A great new way to add feeds to your site

I have had really bad luck trying to use the MT-RSS plug-in on my MT configuration. For some reason I have not had the time to investigate, my MT set-up hates that plug-in. So it was a pleasant surprise to find a web service that could create a feed stream for my web site.

FeedSweep is a free web service created by Howell Developments. It uses a combination of XML and Javascript in order to create a feed stream that you can aggregate into any web page. Sweet!

I've already set up the first feedsweep using RFB's syndication. I'm actually going to set up a whole news page for my blogroll. If this site accepted OPML files, then it would be the bomb. Still, it is a really simple and elegant way of creating a news page.

Check it out!

Depending on someone else's site for parth or your site can be problematic. I've used Kellans Magpie RSS parser for 2 years with my MT install with no problem. Recommended.

Hardly what I would call an official feature request (hehehe), but FeedSweep now support aggregation via OPML directories. Enjoy.
