commentary permalink code

so, i could lie and say i coded this but i really swiped it from TypePad

as you can see, there is a link to the comment. see the permalink code followed by #c. i took it out from the code i have at culturekitchen.

I should have looked at typepad, since they do that automatically, but I still need to hack the individual entry template so the permalinks will actually point to somewhere specific.

Notice what happens when you click on the links on your blog, Liza, you end up at the top of the page - not at the comment you were aiming for.

i know, as i said, i took it off. the code i gave you should work with the anchors you want.

as to the individual entry templates, let me get that to you. i already have them in my site. i'll just post the blog section (entry + TBs + comments).

i took off the #C that is next to the permalink. that's what creates the comment anchor.
